Alema Harrington is best known as an Emmy award winning broadcaster and a mental health/addiction recovery advocate. Harrington has been in the sports broadcast business for over two decades. He is also a licensed substance use disorder counselor and an accomplished motivational and inspirational speaker.

Harrington played football at BYU for legendary coach LaVell Edwards and was a freshman on the 1984 National Championship team. He received a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a minor in broadcast communications.
Alema was born and raised in Hawaii but has made Utah his home since 1996. He has 5 children and lives in Salt Lake City with his wife Christa and their two sons.
