Calvin Armstrong

The second-ever Deseret News Mr. Tennis recipient showed tremendous skill and determination in finishing his junior season as a state champ. He entered the 6A state tournament as the No. 2 seed in the first singles bracket, but went on to beat the top seed 6-4, 6-2 in the championship match to finish the season with a 20-1 singles record. He’s a four-star recruit according to tennisrecruiting.net. The 2024 Deseret News Mr. Tennis recipient is Calvin Armstrong of Skyridge High School.
