Jade Garstang

A junior and an Arizona commit, this year’s Ms. Swimming set new Utah state records in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly to repeat as 5A champ in both events. Her eye-popping performance in the 100 back surpassed the record of former Utah standout Rhyan White, who competed for the United States in the 2021 Olympics in Japan. The 2024 Ms. Swimming, Jade Garstang of Skyline High, is currently chasing her own Olympic dreams as she’s swimming in the Australian Olympic Trials.
