Travis Hansen is a former NBA and Euroleague star. After standout seasons at Utah Valley and BYU — where he earned Defensive Player of the Year, All-District, and All-Conference honors — Travis was drafted alongside LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in the 2003 NBA Draft. He played for the Atlanta Hawks before an acclaimed 10-year career in Europe, winning championships and earning multiple All-Euro and All-Defensive Team honors.
Both Mountain View High School and Orem Junior High retired his jersey, and he was the first inductee into Mountain View’s Hall of Fame. Today, Travis channels his drive into building businesses, writing, and serving his community. He is the founder of Tesani Companies and the Sunshine Heroes Foundation.
Travis earned a bachelor’s degree in health science from BYU and a nonprofit management certificate from Duke University. After serving a mission in Chile for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he married his wife, LaRee. They are the parents of five children.
